Who We Are?

Providence Christian School was founded in 1965 to meet the academic, spiritual, physical and social needs of our students. It is the goal of our dedicated faculty and staff to equip students enrolled in PCS with the spiritual training, academic skills, and character training necessary for success beyond their school careers. Our desire is that students make a difference in this world by not being just hearers of the Word, but also doers of the Word.

Our campus is located on over 20 acres in South East Hillsborough County, two miles from Interstate 75. In addition to classroom space, our facilities include a  science lab, music auditorium, a gymnasium, a fully equipped computer lab, and various athletic fields.

PCS is member of SSACS, the Sunshine State Association of Christian Schools. We offer the advantage of a lower student/teacher ratio than can be provided by most public schools. This ratio, combined with a loving but firm approach to discipline and dress code, promotes an atmosphere in which learning can take place.
