Normally, at this time of year PCS begins preparing for its annual food drive and food pantry. However, we believe we need to help those that have been affected by Hurricane Ian in south Florida. In lieu of our annual food drive, this year we will be participating in the Hurricane Ian Relief Project.
We are currently aware of several churches and ministries that have been extensively damaged and pastors whose homes have been completely lost.
So, we are asking that you help us be a blessing to those in need. If you would like to give to this cause, our ministry will begin gathering essential items that we will transport to several churches that have been directly affected by the storm. We also are setting up a link on our webpage for monetary donations.
God is good! He is not good because we have been spared by the impact of the storm. He is good regardless of whether or not we have been impacted by the storm. His goodness is not defined by events, but it is part of His character. It is constant regardless of the circumstances we face.
We are providing a list of supplies that has been given to us by local pastors. You can purchase these supplies and bring them to the school. We will be storing these items in the gym. Once a week for the next several weeks, we will transport these items to churches in south Florida.
