All of our students in the 7th through 12th grades are encouraged to participate in our athletic program because it is a practical way for our students to apply the godly character taught in the classroom and maintain their academic excellence while pursuing a competitive extracurricular activity. The athletic program is also a great way for families to be involved whether they support their students from the stands, help out with the concession stand or ticket sales, or volunteer as line judges.


PCS offers volleyball for our young ladies beginning in 6th grade. The coaching staff strives each year to teach our young ladies skills to play volleyball as well as how to grow in their relationship with the Lord. Our JV and Varsity teams both compete in the FCC conference and are setting their sights each year on honoring God and playing their best.


During the fall, PCS offers Flag Football to our 5th-12th grade boys. We are striving to teach our young men character and team skills. PCS competes in the SSACS conference for Flag Football and are learning each year to honor God in all they do on the field.


During the winter months, basketball is an extremely popular event on the campus of PCS. Our fans and players alike enjoy the competitive games and exciting atmosphere. With JV Boys, Varsity Girls, and Varsity Boys teams, basketball involves much of the student body. We also enjoy having our elementary join in the intramural league. PCS competes in the FCC conference for basketball and we maintain a highly regarded reputation for sportsmanship and godly character.


This year we are starting intramural volleyball for our 4th-6th girls. This is a stepping stone in their journey of volleyball here at PCS. We strive to improve our skills and teach our students at a young age to better utilize their skills on the court when they get older. Our Varsity Girls will help coach these teams. The coaches will help train them in skills, but will also put a high priority on sportsmanship and honoring God in all they do.


Each year our elementary looks forward to our Junior Knights basketball season. Our youngsters learn the basics of basketball and are able to compete with each other building teamwork and motor skills. Each of our teams is coached by our Varsity Boys and Girls players and really enjoy being around those that they look up to. The coaches help train in basketball skills but also put a high priority on sportsmanship and honoring God in all they do. Junior Knights basketball is open to all students in grades 3rd- 6th.


Our cheerleaders are our “S-P-I-R-I-T” at our basketball games. This is a great opportunity for 4th-6th graders who are willing to work hard at keeping school spirit alive. With a good attitude and smiles all around, our cheerleaders really do a great job at representing our school during basketball games.
